Dmitry Druzhinsky’s stepped into real estate back in 2000, when he oversaw the development of his own house. In the ensuing sixteen years, he has been the lead force behind the construction and sale of over one hundred properties. As MatchPoint NYC’s co-founder, his previous experience in the acquiring and repositioning property played a critical role in the success of the grand $20 million process. The arduous negotiations with New York City’s Board of Standards and Appeals for permitting to develop the desirable three acre lot only came to fruition because the businessman worked with the city to “de-map” a road that had been unused for the past century, and crossed one of the parcels where the structure was planned. Upon opening, the MatchPointNYC became the largest recreational center of its kind in Brooklyn, and the second most expansive in all of New York.
